Not quiet sure what the plant is Dan, but the picture is very interesting.

Please remember me if you learn of anyone moving to "The OC" and I will do the same!

I'm guessing Begonia....looks like icing on the cake, good enough to eat!  Lovely :-)

Nice photo Rich, I can't wait to see some flowers here... have a few little buds - Crocus, nothing else in the cold yet. :)

This is really a beautiful picture... you'll have to tell us what it is!!  Roses?  Begonias?

I'm not sure what the flowers are but it looks like they got a light dusing of snow or maybe frost.

Great photo, Rich.  Looks like hen & chicks that are planted in full sun!  Am I right?  Even close?  LOL

Jim - You are on the money, it is a succulent.

Michael - The form and color of the foliage make it very attractive.

Gail - The color and shape of the leaves could definitely make one think begonia. Some Sedum varieties are actually ate in salads.

April - Crocus are really nice but such early plants make you crave more; kind of like eating only one Girl Scout cookie.

Susan - Though the leave cluster do look like they could be roses, it is a Sedum.

Debi - Good enough to eat...in a salad!

Debbie - We did have snow flurries all day on Monday, after 60's and 70's last week. It melted as fast as it hit the ground. I think what you are seeing is the light playing on the shiny, waxy leaves.

Carol - Close...hen & chicks, which I think are really cool, are also succulents but of a different family.

Thanks!  I learned something today, so the day can never be a total loss!  :)  I like those.  Might have to explore putting that on the hill in front of the house.

Carol - You definitely make me smile. As long as you avoid falling rocks, the day is not a total loss! LOL!

Hey Rich, this is a cool looking plant :)    my first thought was 'chicks 'n hens' or whatever they were called.

Kara - That was a popular guess. Should be a nice groundcover.
