Upper West Side Apartments Condos
The Upper West Side is a neighborhood of the borough of Manhattan in New York City that lies between Central Park and the Hudson River above West 59th Street. Upper West Side is primarily a residential and commercial area, with many of its residents working in more commercial areas in Midtown and Lower Manhattan.
Being an Upper West Side apartments condo resident myself, I think Upper West Side is one of the city's most livable areas, thanks not only to its variety of housing, but also to its fabulous of amenities. It lays claim to not one, but two of the city's largest, most popular parks: Central Park and Riverside Park.
Upper West Side residents also has Some of the best grocery/specialty food stores are practically all in a row along Broadway: Fairway, Citarella, Zabar's and Barney Greengrass. Upper West Side also has two subway lines: the B and C along Central Park West and the 1/2/3 along Broadway.
One of my favorite Upper West Side Apartments Condo is Dorchester Towers Condos (155 West 68th Street). This is condo building has 683 units, and it is centrally located on West 68th Street and Broadway. Circular driveway makes passenger or grocery drop off easy, attentive staff and management is a must have in Manhattan buildings, Spacious layout and roomy closet space is always a pleasant surprise! With IMAX movie theatre and Food Emporium right across the street, life could not get any better. Perhaps the low monthly common charge and Real Estate taxes can make this the perfect investment! Current Available One Bedroom in Dorchester is at $689,000.
My Second favorite Upper West Side Condos is: The Apthorp (390 West End Ave.), where Cyndi Lauper once rented enormous, stabilized apartments, is becoming a condo. is also featured in the new show Kings by NBC. It has a big price tag to live in this landmark: On the market is a 3,331-square-foot four-bedroom, 4 1/2-bath unit for $7.5 million (with common charges of $3,427), or $2,250 per square foot.

Among my other Upper West Side apartments condos favorites are: Trump Place at 120 Riverside Blvd, this is one of the newer building along Riverside Blvd developed by Trump. Its amenities includes: Pool, Exercise Room, Spin Class, Skylounge, Media Billards Room and Children's place room. 1 Bedroom in this building starts at $710,000 and 2 Bedrooms starts at $1,260,000.
The Olcott (27 W. 72nd St.), a former hotel built in 1925 that features grand Art Deco touches, and the nearby Apple Bank Condominium (2112 Broadway), which has housed a bank in its lobby since 1928.
