Fun Brass Statues in Boulder City - Nevada

On my visit to Boulder City Nevada several weeks ago I was able to capture some different statues that I found to be very interesting. Boulder City is around 30 minutes from Las Vegas Blvd and is a fun, quiet, interesting city. Boulder City is the last city before the Hoover Dam before Lake Mead and was built by the Federal Government.

The two photographs (above) are Eagles and the photo (below) is a boy and little girl riding on the back of a tricycle.

Below is another photo of the little girl showing the detail in her face.

Great photos, Bob.  The detail in that bronze of the eagle with its wings spread is amazing!

Robert, great photos!  Really cool statues!  If I am not mistaken, Green Valley has a lot of really good has a lot of children in statues as well.  I like that the communities have invested in the arts like this!

Too bad our Port Commission can't get some good public art down at the bay instead of the stuff they choose. Ah, but art is in the eye of the beholder....
