A little history lesson for you.

On March 30, 1981, President Ronald Reagan is shot in the chest outside a Washington, D.C., hotel by a deranged drifter named John Hinckley Jr.

The president was shot in the left lung, and the .22 caliber bullet just missed his heart.  As he was treated and prepared for surgery, he was in good spirits and said to his wife, Nancy, ''Honey, I forgot to duck,''

James Brady, who nearly died after being shot in the eye, suffered permanent brain damage. He later became an advocate of gun control, and in 1993 Congress passed the "Brady Bill," which established a five-day waiting period and background checks for prospective gun buyers. Some times politicians do good things...and this was one of them.

Do we still have a problem's in the world? yes we do. Do we still have more to do? Well yes we do.....With such a big world out there I often wonder the same question made famous by Rodney King "Can't we all get along?"  

And if we all work together and do something we can make a difference. Be it a small difference or a large difference we can make a difference in the world we live in. If you just do one thing a day or even a one thing a week to make a difference. you will be doing a good thing. The easiest thing you can do is like John Lennon said in his song... give peace a chance....  try it you never know who or what you will change..
