I must tip my hat to the AR network, and all of the great people from around the country who have taken time to try out the new website www.realestatenugget.com.
This is a new listing site, FREE for LIFE. Created BY brokers, FOR brokers... We're in our infancy, so your feedback and constructive criticism is much appreciated and very helpful. Our goal is to create a listing site that is FREE for LIFE, and Comprehensive of Type.
It's similar to Craigslist which many of you are using now, but the nice difference is that your listings on the 'Nugget' stay on until YOU delete them, and they're ordered by price. So no more constant reposting is necessary. Also, from within your account you can manage all of your portfolio.
We designed this site to be basic, simple, and unpretentious. It's easy to use, and it isn't overwhelming or intimidating.
We have some great enhancements coming soon, such as our Open House Calendar, and Broker Directory.
Obviously we are lacking content right now..... If you're curious to see how the content looks, I encourage you to go to the few markets that have started to embrace this: WA, FL, NC, OR, CA..... Gaining the content will take time, but it will happen, and when it does, we will have a comprehensive local database of real estate for the country.
One thing to consider if you're on the fence: Your listings generate EXPOSURE, and by posting your listings, you increase the relevancy of your company name, your personal name, and your listings. This is great Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategy... When filling out our listing form which is short and sweet, I encourage you to link to your website in the description field.
And for those of you who like the concept but are super busy......With your permission, I will do all of the inputting for you. All I need is for you to steer me to your website, or send me pdf's of your listings, and I will get them posted. From there, you will be able to login with your email address and have access to ALL of your listings from where you can easily modify, delete, and add more listings. Think about this: FREE MARKETING AND EXPOSURE!!!
