From 9 am until noon, rain or shine, volunteers are needed for the Adopt a Beach clean up day on Bolivar Peninsula.  Initiated by the Texas General Land Office, a catered lunch will be provided.  Children over 12 years of age are welcome if accompanied by an adult.  Sign up at https://secure2.glo.state.tx.us/OC/aab/registration.cfm and select Bolivar Peninsula as the volunteer site.  Further information can be obtained from Volunteer Houston at 281-282-6035.
