What the heck is Bar Camp you ask? Well, if you've been around ActiveRain for long enough - you probably have run across someone's post here and there - but to sum it up:
"RE Bar Camp is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from attendees."
At the time of this post - we are already half full. A fun time will be offered with lots of learning that you'll be able to select based on the sessions you chose to attend.

Beer with Bloggers on Tuesday night is open to all registrants/participants at Finnigan's Wake in Philly. Hope to see you there ! (If you aren't convinced yet - you can snoop at the list on the site - you'll recognize some names, I'm sure. We are lucky to have some of the most influencial national speakers attending REBCPHL - you should be there too! )

Hi Kim - I just attended the ReBar Camp in Pasadena and my head is still swimming with great ideas. I'm slowly implementing and am excited about the changes I'm making. It was just what I needed. It's also a great place to meet new friends and spend time with your old AR friends. Have a great time in Philadelphia!
Kim, as much as I'd love to make it to this event... I won't be able to... BUT...
If you are in the area and a real estate professional that wants to be not only on the edge, but in front of it or anywhere near it, you NEED to go to a Bar Camp. It is a great experience and you will meet great people... like Kim.
Hi Kim, if I was closer I would be there! Love the gatherings of all the techie RE people. One of these days I'll be somewhere where you are so I can meet you IRL.
Kim - We are excited ! We signed up about a week or so ago as soon as I heard about it. We have never been to one before. We did go to RE Connect (Inman) earlier in the year which was awesome. Learned a lot there and am sure will learn a lot here and have fun at the same time meeting new people in person. Looking foward to connecting ! ~ Chris
I'm trying to find out about one that is supposed to be the day before SF Inman News '09, do you have any info? I signed up at the website to be contacted but haven't received anything?

@Missy - Awh sweets - when you aren't around it just isn't the same anymore! We've been in lots of hugs, cheeky poses, and coffee cup clinks together! I will miss you - and you betcha there *WILL* be pictures! I'll miss you - but I totally understand. (I can still hope a little though, right?)

@Krista - Yay! Ok... so we're in the *same* town and have known each other online for probably about 9 months - and we haven't met. Will the first time be in Philadelphia ? That would be weird!! Of course, the first time I met my friend, Bill Lublin (Philly area) was in San Francisco ! How perfect is that :) ? Really glad you can come. You will benefit- I'm sure.
