20 Comments on I don't feel like typing Saturdays: Big Leaf
Todd,
Looks like a sycamore leaf, and they can be quite large - as you can see. :)
Steve
Todd,
One thing for sure sir that tree will offer a lot of shade in the summer time.
Todd, I apologize for the following, but I have to write it: Is it time to turn the other leaf?
TC,
WOW!!! Your Spring is way ahead of our Spring...!!! Thanks, Fran
Todd what a cute girl, I know you are so proud of her. I bet she will turn the leaf and become a Realtor.
very cute caught my eye
Todd-That is one good size leaf, all our trees are still "Leaf Less" here in Westwood, Mass.
Todd-That leaf is a whopper! You can use it as an umbrella in a pinch. Your daughter (I assume) is adorable.
It is great to see the trees starting to green up and the weather change but I'm thinking we have a few weeks before we get full leaves.
Beautiful photo Todd! Out here in the Northwest, everything is bigger, right? The pilot thinks it's all the clean air - sort of prehistoric. Have you seen the tree ants out here? We were hiking once, we sat on an old log for our romantic picnic, and over walks these gi-normous ants! They were as big as a chihuahua. After the pilot calmed me down, he explained that everything is bigger in the Northwest! Guess their's some truth to that! Cheers,
Wow - that is a HUGE leaf! Didn't feel like typing huh? I don't blame you. Cheers!
That beautiful girl who looks a lot like you is holding a ginormous leaf! Hope you and your family are having a blessed Easter.
I love stuff like this. I find romance in the deep outdoors. This is only a taste, but it gets me going for the outdoors.
Steve - I won't lie, I have no idea what kind of tree that is!
Don - Yes it does! I love that tree during baseball season along with many other parents.
Gabe - Why apologize, that is the kind of comments I LOVE!
Fran - No, that picture was taken late last spring and I just found it.
Connie - You have no idea about this one, she will out sell daddy easily, you should read some of my other posts on her selling ability.
Terri - I'm just hoping the same doesn't happen with the boys when she is 16!
Joseph - I've never seen a leaf that big, I was in shock and we had to take the picture.
Lydia - That is my daughter and I won't tell her, don't want to give her an ego. (LOL)
Terry - So are we, this was taken last spring.
Amy - Are you trying to say I'm fat? (ROFL) I just found some of those ants at my parents house...Evil little buggers from space I tell ya.
James - Never do on Saturdays for some reason.
Shirley - She does? I thought she looked like the mailman... Dang it, I guess I am her dad.
Larry - This is just one of the reasons I love camping is finding things like this. Even though we were just in a park when we found this one, but still.
