What A Little Girl And An Upside Down Dog Teach Us About Connection

Upside Down DogYou will see this all the time in real estate, social media, friends and in life. You need to know

What A Little Girl An An Upside Down Dog Teach Us About Connection.

It is observing "kindred spirits." Some agents click with some clients. Some little girls have the time of their lives with a favorite upside down dog in the backyard. Some blog readers have their favorite blog posters.

If others are NOT a kindred spirit for you, that is ok too, due to dissimilar interests or viewpoint.

But recognize the chemistry of those kindred spirit moments when they occur whether in business, friendship, or love. It is real, and it is surprising when you see it. That's why in real estate you will hear many agents say for certain clients they became life long friends. Between colleagues in an office. Between Associates or Friends or Twittered buddies on Social Networks. Chemistry is alive and well with many people.

Just remember your next favorite upside down dog, that laughter and love in your life, may be a double click on a profile picture or your website or a comment away. Let the JOY begin!!!

It is so true that we feel a close connection, when for some unknown reason we feel we have "known" this person/animal in a deep profound way.  It is one of the magical moments in life.  It as though the other person is a mirror reflecting back our own image!  It is something to be cherished.

Hi Gary!
Interestingly, I just had an example of this happen.  I represented a buyer in the purchase of a truly unique 5 home PUD. The owner/developer (of sorts...he never intended it to be the project it was) was concerned ab out who his new neighbors would be (he lives in one of the houses).  Well, my client was walking by the house on his way to work when he ran into the owner cleaning the sidewalk.  The owner told me about this encounter...he was in tears because he felt that they had a real connection.. a bond and was so relieved to know he would enjoy his new neighbors...it was really sweet!

Gary, lovely post!  And you know?  It amazes me how many people I've clicked with here who are so very different than I am with politics, religion and other stuff, and there is some kind of basic thing at the core that I can really appreciate about them.  Gotta go pet my upside down doggie!  Oh wait!  He's at the Dog Whisperer's while I'm on vacation!

It's so important to have that ability to recognize a true connection. Those don't come around very often, so it's a shame if we waste the opportunity.
