Now that is a cool lizard!
your friend in Charlottesville Virginia!
Charles - thanks !!!!
Barbara Jo, these are great pictures. We used to chase these guys when we were kids in Puerto Rico. They get up and run on their hind legs. Fun to watch :-)
Cute little guy,and not shy either.
I love these little things. Would you know by any chance what the difference is between a Gecko and a Lizard?
When I went for a walk in the hills this weekend with the dog, she went crazy when she saw a lizard cross our path. Great photos.
What great close-ups! the ground almost looks like snow to me. Did you know that you can "paralyze" lizards for a short time by rubbing their belly? and while they're "out" you can dress them up in tiny dollclothes---and then photograph them and...well, sorry to go off on a tangent, but it's true LOL!
Lara- indeed, they are cute!
Georgina - AND eager to bite a finger if you present it!
Anne - perhaps the size???
Heather- too bad you did not film that one!
Mara - with my luck when I went to rub it's tummy it would latch on to my finger! ouch!
These little things are so cute. At least once a week I have to save one from my cat
Reminds me of an old Taco Bell Ad promoting the move Godzilla when the little Chihuahua says "Here Lizard, Lizard, Lizard... "
Sorry; its early and I am on my 1st cup of coffee LOL
Anne- they are indeed cute!
James - I remember that commercial and always loved it!
