Spring into Fresh Ideas!

By
Real Estate Agent with Platinum Realty Group

Spring Fresh; When I think about Spring fresh and Spring Cleaning I think about, sprucing up the house. I also, think about my Mom and Grandma, and running for my life when they mentioned Spring Cleaning!!

We Started at the Top, and cleaned the Light Fixtures, got down cobwebs, and generally, worked our way down! Everything, from woodwork to floors got washed if at all possible. All the pillows and cushions, rugs, possibly mattresses that could be sunned, were taken out in the sun.

Not only do I think about, making everything in the house fresh, but especially, refreshing my clothes. Getting the closet and drawers cleaned out and giving things away or sold. Working on myself , is always on-going! But Spring is a re-Freshening and Re-newing time every year.

Thinking about Fresh Ideas are an altogether different thing.Consider the new technologies, especially, the computer, and using Blogs and even Twitter. I am using Face-book, the Trulia site. A Web Presence, of course, is a must.We also, have the new tool of Site-Seer 3-D which I will expand on. These are the newest things in my tool box!

I want to discuss Blogging.  So far, I can tell I am getting addicted to the act of sitting down and talking about Real Estate or whatever, is on my mind, that I can possibly apply to Real Estate. There are so many things to talk about I have a hard time sometimes, making up my mind what to Blog about. I also, Love to read any of the Blogs whose Title catches my attention; and commenting on them is like carrying on a conversation. Meeting and talking to so many from other places and getting to know a little about other areas is so satisfying. Most of all, we are getting aquainted with each other! Of course, relationships, is what life is about!

Twitter, is not something, I'm using but I have joined and eventually, may jump into the twitter craze!

Trulia.com,is a Real Estate Site. It also, features some blogging and questions, and answers! It is a place where I have some listings. Since, the Internet, is the place that most people start looking for a new home; it only stands to reason that we should use all the free, sites we can find! Showing what we know and how we can serve Others, it is such a useful tool to us as Realtors

Using  a Wed Page; is the first place to start, but the advertising, to get people to it, has been something I have had to work at. I am very Blessed, that my Company has been advertising our website. Also, putting a link at the bottom of my Blog is getting some traffic to the Site!

Using Site -Seer 3D; is so neat! You can look at the neighborhood and surrounding area, similar to Google Earth, and the house set on the street where it is! Very unique for Out-of-Towners! You might want to try it out, www.ConnieCase.knoxvillefindahome.com., anyway it is probably available in your area.

FaceBook is a new tool to me. You can do it on a Personal note or you can use it as a Professional tool! The best bet for me seems to be a combination. Hopefully, I will run into friends, I have not seen in a long time and renew some acquaintances. Hopefully, by using these tools we can beat the market being down, and stay in Business!

I have started some of my Spring cleaning, but I still have quite a bit to do. Hopefully I will knock the rest out soon.

Connie, I like "your fresh ideas", I think that is the key. I started up my walking again today, it was finally in the high 50's.....so I started cleaning the cob webs out of my brain by walking.

Connie....Spring Cleaning sends me running as well...but it will be on the calendar for the next couple weeks....hopefully. The storage room in the garage has not been done in years.....that will probably take days. Then there are the Matchbox cars...they have not been dusted since 1998! (They ARE in a case but you know Mr. Dust...he finds a way!

Matchbox CarsBut, I always feel a sense of accomplishment when I clean....be it the house, garage, desk, files or my head!

Congrats on your mention!
