My favorite German Restaurant is located at the corner of Columbus Crossing near Weems Rd. Service and food are very good; cognac and beer will keep you lingering longer than you expected. Desserts are traditional German fare and also delicious. Recently Fasching was celebrated, this is the German version of Mardi Gras. Two early arrivals are pictured below.

Erika, it's interesting to see that there are German restaurants in your vicinity. What is the name of the restaurant?

It is called the Bavarian House! Meat, potatoes and gravy are the staples. Other celebrations include Octoberfest, Christmas and New Years. Columbus Ga is an army town and there are a great number of retired military here. The culture is fairly diverse. Korean, German, French, Japanese, Mexican, Puerto Rican, Dominican, Indian, you name it.
