Titmouse Family

Bringing up a handsome Titmouse family

You know it's a Spring for sure when the birds are busily feeding their chicks. I was able to get this picture of Titmouse parents diligently bringing grubs for their hungry little chicks. It's wonderful to see nature going about its business no matter what drama is going on in human world.

Feeding Titmouse Chicks
What a fat grub in its beaks!

Great pictures.  I have them at my feeder but never get to see where they live and work.  Thanks.

Dean-Thanks. The way the parents were bringing those fat grubs, it won't be long before the chicks will fledge and fly.

Richard-The tree is right in our back yard and the nesting hole is not too high for the pictures, so the picture taking wasn't too difficult.

Craig-How was your tropical vacation? Good to have you back and thanks.

Roy-It seems we're blessed with abundant wild life around our house, and we are really enjoying them (except for the deer and raccoons who eat just about anything planted.)

Gene-It is wonderful to have birds that eat harmful grubs and caterpillars. Thanks for stopping by.
