Always remember you're in real estate to win.    If you're not winning take a good solid hour of in-depth thought to write down why you're not winning.

Your first question should be "why are you not selling all the real estate you want.?"   Remember, real estate is selling and there are agents in your own community who are doing very well.    Don't blame the economy or find other scape-goat excuses.

If you're not selling as much as you'd like there's a reason that lies within you.

It may be time for some agonizing reappraisal.   Immediately ditch those things which aren't working for you and invent new marketing ideas.    You'll know who's on top of the real estate game locally.   See what they're doing that you're not.  Subscribe to their newsletters....read their advertising....devise new methods of bringing business to you.   Every sale that goes to a competitor is a sale that didn't come to you.

You may wish to niche market, look at forming alliances, get to know the movers and shakers in your city etc..  There are a lot of ETHICAL tricks in the book and you should know every one of them to stay ahead.    There's a new way of doing business and it's up to you to discover it.

A written game plan will certainly be of help.   FOCUS on what you want to achieve and how you'll achieve it....then put it into practice every day.

Set daily attainable goals and accomplish them...   Raise the bar slightly every week.   READ, LEARN, INNOVATE, CHANGE AND ADAPT.   Once you get into the habit of doing this, you'll find you'll win more often.

Don't wait for clients to come to you..   A little thought and intuition will tell you where your target market is.   Go after it.

Good luck.

Thanks.  Sincerely, David

Always good advice, something we need to remember each day.  I try to do keep it all in mind, it does work!

Thanks,

This is great advice, David.  Sometimes we let all the doom and gloom get to us; we get demotivated and it's hard to get going again.

Thank you, and continued success.
