Columbus Ga - Fort Benning - location, location, location,

One of the very nicest things about Columbus Ga and Fort Benning is location.  And we all know that in real estate it is all about location, location, location.  Well in this case it may also hold true for entertainment.  A short drive of three to three and a half hours can get you as far as Panama City Beach Florida.  Although it is has gotten a bit commercialized in the past 15 years, it can still boast of one of the best beaches in the world. 

An hour north will get you to Atlanta and all that it has to offer.  Major League Sports, Museums, Entertainment Parks and a fantastic night life are some of the offerings. 

Another couple of hours beyond Atlanta you will find Chattanooga Tennessee.  Among other things you will find a world class hang gliding school.  For the inexperienced Tandem flights are available.  For the more down to earth types you can also enjoy Ruby Falls or Rock City and River Boat Rides.
