That case of mistaken identity I wrote about recently? Well, I thought I'd post a follow-up. I did get the listing (it's on tour today!!), and they are wonderful folks! They're really counting on me to help them, and I'd love nothing more than to bring them a great offer!

When we met, it was like we'd known each other forever! And they're convinced I'm their good luck charm. Interestingly enough, because of how I came into their lives...and my name!

I jokingly said, "No pressure there!!"

My seller has been given some bad (and some good) advice from past realtors, and was at the end of her rope. My gosh, what she really wanted, besides a sale of course, was communication! And enthusiasm! Heck, I can give her both of those things...but I most want to give her closure and the ability to move on to the next phase of her life.

We both think we met for a reason; the circumstances were just too darn "do-do-do-do...do-do-do-do!"

So if anyone has a buyer for an adorable, clean, cheery, 2 bedroom 2 full-bath condo in a wonderful western suburb of Cleveland, close to public transportation, shopping and highways...let me know!

Sue,

It can be a great relationship, and a Sale! When things like this come about, you really have to advertise big time! Of course you already know that.

Have you tried eflyers in your area? Also, send the just listed pc out! Post on Craigslist, do a reverse prospect search of your MLS.

And Pray,

Sue,

Sounds like you have found a true friend and it most likely is meant to be. Good luck with getting this property sold for both your sakes!

Hi Connie,

Way ahead of you! It's on Craigslist, I've reverse prospected, send Just Listed postcards to 2 apartment complexes in the area, having it on tour today (emailed an invite to the other realtors with listings in the complex as well as those who've recently sold similar condos and my office).

Who would I send eflyers to?? I've never done those!

And thanks!!

Congrats Sue, great job getting that listing.  I remember your blog about the event leading up to it.

Jen ~ LOL...I think that's what they're thinking too...devine intervention. And I'll take any help I can get! These folks are the best!

Susan ~ Thank you! Don't you wish enthusiasm sold houses lately??

Gabe ~ It's strange, but this was the first listing appointment I've gone on where I wasn't the least bit nervous. It just felt "right". Now bring on the buyers!!!! lol

Dorie ~ I can see having them as friends one day, instead of "just clients"! Especially if I sell the condo for them!!
