Do you do what you do everyday for the money? Some of us probably do, and there isn't anything wrong with that. After all we do have to put food on the table and pay the bills. But many of us in the real estate field or any other field for that matter, do what we do for other reasons.
Most of my life I've been accused of mothering people, being the constant girl scout, being a goody two shoes. I'm OK with all of that. Doing what's right in my mind isn't a decision making process. In my mind doing what is right is just what you do with out thinking about it.
Last weekend my little sister (yes we really are sisters) graduated college at the top of her class, with national honors and PFK. Paula is an American Sign Language interpreter. Paula does what she does because her heart is in the right place. Not so long ago the doctors didn't expect Paula to live, and if she did she would be severally impaired. Long story short, after 2 years of being unable to speak she is healthy today. Paula can speak in a manner most of us understand. But now she can speak for those you can't speak for themselves in an audible tone.
Last weekend was also Paulas birthday, mothers day and her husband left for Iraq. As you might imagine all of this is emotionally draining. But Paula is doing what she thinks is right. So, again, I ask all of you. Why do you do what you do?
