I usually don't make a followup call before appointments. I don't want to give them an opportunity to change their minds. Most people keep their appointments.

I would say 1/3 to 1/2 of my appointments are made two or three days ahead. Might make it tough for the Postal Servcie to do their thing. I typically do the reminder email. I agree with the concept, just do it a littledifferently.
