There is a new secret to success and I hope that you hear this loud and clear and take heart to this message the next time you are with a client...You see, once upon a time you needed to have the ability really convince a buyer what house to buy, you needed to have script on everything from how to get the carpet replaced to how to handle bidding wars. Please do not get this message wrong as understanding and having scripts is very important but the base of the script has everything to do with CHANGE!
Learn what has changed and learn the passion and motivation for your clients and for yourself!
THE BUYER - THE SELLER - YOUR CLIENTS
Drop old script and focus on learning the WiiFm (What is in it for me?) No, not you - them! The buyer or the seller needs to know what you are going to do for them! The buyer and sellers out there need an agent that is really going to listen and one that is going to look at all options to help them make the best choice based on the truth. What is best for them!

The President said it clear in a recent speech: There is a job for those that want to work...This is true for agents. In 2005 when the real estate market was rocking and rolling...Guess what? You and I still woke up everyday unemployed. We had to go out each day and get new business. Today, we do the same thing but we have to just dig a little deeper, call a little longer and hold on a lot tighter to any and every lead we can get...However, there is still enough buyers and sellers all around you that if you are working, talking, walking and dressing the part...Shazzzaaam - Chaaa - Ching - You will have closings!
The future is telling us to do a little more than look into a wishing well...It is telling us to look into the mirror.
What are you doing different? Who are you reaching out to? How do you answer people when they ask you about real estate in your area? Are you dressing and wearing your badge to stay visible as a REALTOR? Do you go to face to face social events to network and shake hands of new leads? Do you find leads on the facebook, activerain, tweeter and do you take those leads to the next level of following up? What education are you getting? Are you on the cutting edge of technology? Do you know stats off the top of your head?
Look into the future! What do you see?
