When I was a kid I would have been trying to balance on one of those stones!  LOL  I just love these kinds of scenes.

Reminds me of how ready I am for springs and to spend time in the local mountains.  Great picture.

Roy - Hahaha! In the summertime, there are people of all ages playing the the springs and creeks that seem to be around every bend in the Smokies.

Joan - There are innumerable scenes similar to this all over this beautiful National Park. Here is a link to my photo blog, Rich's Pics, with several more photos!Hope you like them.

Gail - It really is a beautiful area. Actually saw 3 black bear cubs not 100 yards away at one point. There were rangers around to make sure nobody interfered with the cubs and keeping a lookout for Mama Bear. This is the 2nd time I have seen bear cubs in the park.

Carol - Me too! Now I wonder if I'll fall on my butt!

Mark - It was interesting to see the three different levels, see links in response to Joan above, and the differences.

Lori - Melting snows definitely make it cold.

Debi -

Joan - It would definitely be cold! Melting snows and all...I am keeping my toes out!

Cynthis - Thanks for stopping in and commenting. In our area of east Tennessee there are similar streams that amble and/or rush through the landscape.
