the rim, or handle, of their ceramic cups. When they needed a refill,

Well, I don't know if I can lick my elbow or not because I'm not about to try.  I can look stupid enough without suggestions from others.

Some of them are very good.  You wonder where some words come from and sometimes they come from the most interesting places.
