Financial Fitness Workshop

The United Church of Christ is hosting a Financial Fitness Workshop to be conducted by Shelly Boyd, an accredited financial counselor with Novadebt. Novadebt is a Garden State non-profit consumer credit counseling organization. On Thursday, April 16, 2009 at 7 PM, Ms. Boyd will provide an overview of options available to those facing financial challenges.

The workshop is free and open to all; the church is located at 220 West Seventh St., in Plainfield, New Jersey.

William - Good to see you and hope all is well ! Sounds like a great and informative workshop. Great for any community to have workshops like these as often as possible.

Curious...did you attend Bill just to see what was discussed ? Our experience with most of these groups is that they have been referring to other groups who charge for the impossible...or impossibly charge...loan mods, deeds in lieu....everything but a short sale which is clearly the only option other than bankruptcy for some folks.
