Lewisville's Sun Valley Aquatic Center and Old Town Aquatic Park will open the summer season at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, May 24.
Located at 801 S. Valley Parkway behind Lewisville High School, Sun Valley Aquatic Center features a 25-yard competition pool, two double-loop slides, a lily pad/activity area, a tot pool, a lazy river and a concession area.
Admission at the gate is $5. Resident admission cost is $4 (proof of residency required), and twilight admission (7-8 p.m. Monday-Friday) is $3. Children under 3 are admitted FREE.
The facility is open noon-7 p.m. Monday-Friday, 1-6 p.m. Saturday and 2-6 p.m. Sunday during the season. It is closed on Wednesdays.
Season passes also are available. They are good at either facility for the entire swim season. Individual season pass cost is $65, individual resident season pass is $50 (proof of residency required), and a resident family pass for up to six family members is available for $175.
