James Island Real Estate News: James Island Council Opposes I-526 Project
The James Island town council voted unanimously to oppose any path taking the interstate through the town, potentially damaging plans for completing Interstate 526. Some consider this a bit damaging to James Island Real Estate, possibly limiting the access to an already hard to get to James Island.
The DOT is evaluating options based on current population and traffic needs. There will be a series of public forums beginning at 6 pm on April 30th at West Ashley High Schools.
