Is there a group for Thoughtful Thursdays? I searched and located a couple of entries with text that included Thoughtful Thursday, but did not locate an "official" group. If this is an error on my part, please let me know and Ill join the Thoughtful Thursday group.

Meanwhile, I missed Speechless Sunday and Wordless Wednesday this week. I've received a few emails from Activerain friends asking me IF I'm OK. Yes, I'm alive and well... just inundated with work! I will not complain about that, but it sure makes me dull, duller and dullest - LOL!

Easter Sunday was the only day in the past two weeks I've had with a few hours off. I made the best of it by taking a walk around Lake Grapevine which is located in Flower Mound, Texas.

Here are a couple of the images I shot just before and right at the magic hour which invariably emits the most wonderful light of the day... at sunrise and sunset. Hope you enjoy them and thanks for checking up on me!

Hi Ron—It is really nice to know poeple miss me! I was at the lake quite awhile waiting for the magic hour as I walked around. A couple of times I thought I might leave early, but the clouds continued to build so quickly I knew I'd be sorry if I walked away. Thanks!

Hi Terry—When I lived in Hawaii it was easier to capture these skyscapes. However, I haven't had as much luck on the mainland. For me, I think it boils down to opporunity and time. I had to wait 45 minutes between the two shots, but I was shootingother things in between so it wasn't all wait time. Thanks and have a greet weekend!

Hi LuLu....as usual I'm running behind and happy I found my way to these photos.  OMG that first one sends me to the outer limits.  I honestly think you could do a post just on what your impressions are when you look at it.  I don't think I did drugs last night (just kidding....I'm very drug-free) but looking at pic #1 makes me feel like I did....no further comment ;-)

Glad to see you're so busy....

Hi GayGay—I understand running behind and playing catch-up. The majority of visitors agree with your preference for photo number one. I could write a post about it, but do think it would be cheating using an image a second time, especially so soon? An inquiring mind wants to know - lol!

So pleased to see you again - thanks. Have a great week!

Gorgeous photos, Linda!  I love the reflections over the water and the clouds are especially cool in the first shot.  Were they both taken at the same spot?
