 Yes we have become cynical - and we too often judge only by looks & possessions. This woman was the loveliest surprise I believe I have ever seen - and what a wonderful response the panel and audience gave her. Too cool.

Midori, I've watched this at least 5 times already and it made me cry. To sing the words "My life has killed the dream I dream" and perhaps mean them is so sad, and yet, I have a feeling her life is about to change drastically. I hope she enjoys huge success!

... I heard about this lady, but didnt get to see her performance, and I am so glad you posted this ! ...what an amazing performance, but as you said, a terrific underlying message that we should not always be so quick judge a book by its cover...
