I just installed this cool new home search tool on my AR sidebar. It seems to provide the listing information off Google Base data, and is extremely customizable (by area, by city, by price range, etc.). Realbird also offers a full screen version for webpages or blog posts (see below), or check out the sidebar version just to the right of this post on my blog. The best part of it all, it was FREE! Thanks Realbird, you guys are the best!
Do you have the link where we can get this for our own pages and web sites? Got the link but unavailable for our area.
Norma. Good question! I got it by signing into my FREE Realbird account, you can find their site at http://realbird.com/. They are also ActiveRain members, you can find them on AR at http://activerain.com/realbird. Zoltan is the person I usually contact, and he is very responsive so I am sure he can help you with any questions you have about installing or using the tool :)
If you have this widgit on your sidebar, do you receive the contact information from those who use it and want further info?
Brenda, Brenda & Pam - Very nice deployment, you are the first - as far as I can tell - who installed it on ActiveRain. Thank you for the nice words about us as well.
Jim & Maria - Regarding capturing contact information - Yes, it does. It has a built in client management area, your visitors can create their account under your service, they can save searches, save properties, request more information from you and share properties and searches via social networks and social bookmarking sites. The client area even streams your blog feed (e.g) and Twitter updates for them.

Zoltan - Thank you for noticing our implementation, and thanks again for the great cutting-edge tools!
Jim & Maria - GREAT NEWS! Please review Zoltan's comment above for the correct answer to your question :)
This is great! I got my code but can't figure out where to add it in my profile...can you tell me the steps necessary to add it to the sidebar?
Thanks!
