Over the past few years, I've helped generate, process, and incubate thousands and thousands and thousands of IDX Property Search registrations.

And more recently (& concurrently), I committed to consistently adding dynamic, exciting video content to one of my blogs.  I let people search freely on the site, but I also encourage them to sign up for a bi-weekly digest of all the new listings, videos, and other content I post to the site. (In case you're wondering, this nifty tool is my secret weapon.

Which do you think has proved to be a better strategy? Which do you think yields more warm, inbound emails and phone calls from engaged, interested, prospects? You bet -- the 60 unique visitors I a day at PropertunityKnocks.Com generate more buyer appointments and closed transactions then do the 500 or so visitors to #1 organically ranked (for "Philadelphia Real Estate" and lotsa other keywords) PhiladelphiasRealEstate.Com.

Here's a transcript of a quick chat I just had with one of my colleagues at RE/MAX Affiliates NE who receives a share of the 700 or so monthly registrations that have been flowing through PhiladelphiasRealstate.Com.

 

(From) KEITH: One suggestion, make entering a phone # mandatory. Alot of stuff I got was just people who enter an email address that either bounces back as bad or they just never respond

Who The Frack is Keith?!!!!! Really, Who the Frack Is Keith? Why should I work with him? Why is he emailing me, I'm not going to buy for at least 2-5 years. (In fact, my credit's so jacked up, I'll probably never buy.)

Keith buddy...Let's get you a niche and devise a strategy for creating, enhancing, and consistently delivering your expertise to as many interested folks as possible.

And you...Mr or Mrs. Realtor colleague inlooker...Who the Frack Are You?

 

Are you doing anything to differentiate yourself from the rest of the folks with the same ole jiggy search function linked to a generic drip email campaign?

Maybe your time would be better spent buying a flip camera and videoing a local Hud property? Or maybe taking a driving tour of your farm?

 

Create Unique Content, Deliver It To Your Ever-Growing List Via Auto Blog Broadcasts, and For Pete's Sake -- Stop Wasting Time Trying To Get In Touch With People Who Sign Up For Your IDX Search!
