Marketing Monday - Real Estate Puzzle (Members Only) Last week John Novak left a comment on my blog about making a puzzle that spurred today's idea. I have not worked out my final format but the concept is pretty simple.
Develop a Crossword and Word Search Puzzle as an added hand out at open houses. My first search of the Internet led to a site that wasted about an hour of my time. After thinking up a number of questions and answers for a crossword they wanted a credit card number for monthly membership fees before generating the puzzle. A little more searching got me to Puzzle-Maker that worked great and will create both types of puzzles. It will also generate many different layouts. I printed half a dozen word searches and passed some time at my open house yesterday testing them. I think this will be a great addition to my pile of marketing items. Parents can keep children busy while driving around searching for a new home and depending on the puzzle questions I can reinforce branding myself and my area. On these two puzzles the WORDSEACH words are also the answers to the CROSSWORD. It would also be nice to have an on-line version to email prospects. If anyone knows of links where custom fill-in the blank forms can be created let me know. As always positive and negative comments are welcome. Thanks
