Poppy Day and Plant Sale

Saturday April 18, 2009 from 8:30am - 4:30pm

Poppy Day is an annual event at Theodore Payne, and includes a plant sale. The public receives a 10% discount on all plants; members receive a 15% discount. Knowledgeable staff and volunteers are available to share their knowledge native plant gardening. Tours of the Theodore Payne nursery will be given and visitors can walk to Wildflower Hill to see it in bloom.

I had to look up images of poppies.  I did not realize they come in a yellow color, but California poppies do.
