Florida is moving, yes, it's moving!

Florida is moving in the correct direction. According to Broward County news, we have gone from 24 months of inventory a year ago to 16 months of inventory! Great information to have.

Home sales in my area of Broward County are selling at for the most part 90% of the asking price.

Homes east of US 1 are holding their own. There are ONLY 3 FORECLOSURES BEACH FRONT, in the Fort Lauderdale area, including Lauderdale-by-the-Sea up to the Sea Ranch area.

That is more good news.

Apparently, we've are on a positive move here in South Florida. Yes, there are probably 2 million properties in short sale or foreclosure situations. However, we do not have that same situation east of US 1. The condo's and homes in my area are still maintaining their value, probably a little less than when the "frenzie" was going on in 2005, however, the value remains with beach and Intracoastal properties.

That is a good thing. We are selling homes here in Metro Detroit too. I think we are on a slight upswing.

Great news for Florida! I just heard the other day that things there are picking up. We have a pretty stable market here in Denver.

Things are going well here. We went from 24 months of inventory last year to 16 months of inventory in March...that's great for us.

No problem, our office is going strong. We're on the beach where things are pretty stable. Condo's and home's east of Federal Highway, (US 1) are holding their own. Thanks for the comment.

It's great, we're very busy in my office. Most of who is inquiring are cash buyers, that's great too b/c I think there are still issues with the banks and mortgages. The banks are afraid to lend money...or they just don't have the money to lend. Cash is gold as I stated in my previous blog.
