Are Kidney Stones A Bad Thing? Take This Quiz To Find Out!!!

By
Real Estate Agent with Helping people in transition 210155

OK, my dear readers, here's a little quiz for you.

Don't worry, I won't be grading this, and you can chat amongst yourselves to come up with the correct answer if you feel the need to.

Ready? OK, let's begin......

Which of the following things is a BAD thing?

A. Skipping stones.

Skipping stones

B. The Rolling Stones.

The Rolling Stones

C. Kidney Stones.

Kidney Stones

D. None of the above.

Huh?

If you guessed "A", you need help! What could be more fun than skipping stones?

If you guessed "B", you probably like the guys pictured below and you seriously need to reconsider your choice in music!

Turn it down!

If you guessed "C", you would think you're right. But not in this case!

If you guessed "D" "None of these", you are correct! And you move into the bonus round. For those of you who got it wrong, we have some lovely parting gifts for you!!!

Let me explain....

The other day while sitting in my office, my phone rang.....

I really need to straighten this mess out someday!

On the other end of the line was the sound of a heavy breathing woman. Being a man with a pulse, I'm thinking, "OK, this is going to be my lucky day!"

As it turns out, this heavy breathing woman, was our very own ActiveRain superstar, Leesa Finley.

Leesa Finley

Leesa, I discover, has, as well as a very nice heavy breathing voice, some buyer clients coming in to town. But Leesa also has a bad case of kidney stones, is doubled over in pain, and unable to work with them.

While I've never actually met Leesa, we've routinely commented on each other's blogs and spoken on the phone a number of times. Despite that fact, Leesa called me to see if I could help her out of this jam she was in! I'd like to think she called me because of my good looks and charming personality. But I'm not delusional, so I knew that wasn't the case!!!

However, without hesitation, I said yes I'd be happy to help out.

Anyway, we work out the details (75% referral fee....thanks a lot Leesa!!!....Just kidding folks, it was only 74%!!!), and I schedule some homes to show the clients. It turns out that these buyer clients had seen one of Leesa's listings, called her and wanted to see, among others, that particular home. So off we go looking at homes in the Raleigh area. And, at the end of a few days, Leesa's listing is the one they want!

We write an offer, I skillfully, and with amazing deft (if I do say so myself!), negotiate the details, agree on the terms and the offer is accepted! We're scheduled to close June 4th!

So you see, my dear readers, while in most cases kidney stones might have been the correct answer to this little quiz, things are not always what they seem!

In this case, kidney stones were a good thing! I get to finally meet Leesa, we get an opportunity to work together, ActiveRain plays a huge role in bringing us together, and, most of all, the clients needs were met!

Kidney stones, Leesa, ActiveRain and me!

It's all good!

Hold on - let me take another Vicodin on that one!  HA!

Seriously, Craig, I can't thank you enough for helping me out.  I knew that I could count on you and I knew that if i had to hand pick another agent in the area that would take such incredible care of my clients it had to be you!  I feel "better" <relative> and will hopefully have surgery this week so I can be back to my old self!

As for the referral fee?  74%?  Remember the comment about the flat tires......hhmmmm, interesting and where exactly IS your car today????

:)

Jim - Thank you my friend! I do appreciate those kind words.

Leesa - Vicodin for everyone! I'm going to need one after you put that hex on my car!!!

Right now it looks like a jigsaw puzzle in my garage. But it'll be back on the road tomorrow and as good as new!

And as far as helping you out......PUHHHHLEEEASE! How could I even think of saying no? All I can say is thank YOU for considering me and having the faith in me to get the job done. I think, if all goes well, we're going to have some fun on this one!

Just get better and we'll talk soon.

OK OK, I seem to always be running a little behind although I don't quite know why.  Must be swamp fever ;-)

Poor Leesa....surgery - YIKES, best wishes to you with a prayer, maybe even a song and dance!

Craig, congrats on the contract...this is a great story delivered in true Rutman fashion...hahahaha.  AND should you decide to change careers, stand-up comic would be a good choice.  You're adorable MUAH.  Love Debi's ancient picture, I think she served me once and really pushed those grits, but I told her I was a Canuck and she let up.  Thanks for the fun........

Gail - I just don't know why my blog isn't the first thing you check every day?!!! Have you learned nothing from all the indispensible information I provide on a daily basis?!!!

I too hope Leesa gets better soon. Her hubby told me today he thinks she's feeling better as, and these are his words, "She's not as snippy today."

Thank you Gail for your kind words... Blushing a little here in NC...Either that of I have a circulation problem and that's why I'm a darker shade of red!

And I think Debi served me grits once too.....Great grits, lousy service!

Bless our little spitfire's heart and yours, Craig, for helping her in a pinch.  And good for both of you on the contract! I know she's in a LOT of pain and I so hope she gets the stones taken care of and GONE soon.  We miss her here in the rain and want to see her back to being her sparky, little self.  Laraine

Craig,

I'm a newcomer and now I'm scared. Will my office look like that if I spend time writing on AR?

Or does that just happen to those who produce really funny postings?
