This is my diary entry for day 28 of being trapped inside because of the snow storm. Ok, kidding. It's only day 2. It's winter wonderland all over again!
And for a status report - it's still snowing, wet heavy snow. I have to find a yard stick to give you exact measurement of amount of snow in our yard - the 12" ruler isn't cutting it any more. Estimating about 16". Oh and did I mention - it's still snowing.

Here are some more pics taken today about midday in Highlands Ranch Colorado.
Time to go shovel again. Enjoy.

Nay, I'll just go have some fun in the sun snow. (the light-day light- is really strange today)

Hi Rita! Well, isn't that just grand??!!!  The snow is truly beautiful, too bad we are finally getting it in April!  I love your pics, hope you have a great weekend, anyway.

That's the last one, right?  Here in Maine, we usually have one late storm to remind us of how happy we should be with the warm weather.

Update - it's still snowing but not as hard. 37 degrees. main roads are wet but in decent driving condition. Can't say the same to the smaller residential streets though. Tomorrow supposed to be 60 degrees!

Rita - well this is just downright rude and cruel. Mid April? I won't tell you about the weather here.

Unbelievable! Beautiful, yes, but I bet you were hoping for something warmer, perhaps? I think Mother Nature forgot to take her Paxil or something, because this bi-polar weather is for the birds! Great post! Cheers,

The older I get, the less tolerance I have for the stuff. If it comes on a Friday night, and I do not have to work for a couple days, then fine. Otherwise, stay away.

WOW thats what I call SNOW!  We dont have that stuff here in FL, but going weeks without electricity after a hurricane is kinda like being trapped by a snow storm.  There's no place to go, everything is closed, and some roads are impassable.  Kinda think I might prefer a little white stuff to that!  Beautiful pictures!

OMG!  I am JUST now finding this post--what GORGEOUS photos--as I sit here with my office door open, listening to the spa overflowing into the pool... Sorry, I just love spring and I cannot imagine having snow right now!

I have to say the first photo is the best--it's a subliminal message to God to STOP the snowing!!  I have a client who is selling her home in Denver right now and she said that they have not had a good weekend to show her home YET!  I want the snow to stop too--so my client can get her home SOLD!
