 Here is a dip I think you will enjoy, and it's fat free...yeah right!  Great for a large crowd.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound sausage, regular or spicy
  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cans (10oz.) diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • Garlic salt to taste
  • 2 pounds processed cheese, cubed (Better known as Velveeta)
  • 8 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Directions:

Brown sausage, ground beef and chopped onion, cook until done.  Spoon into a colander; drain, then return to pan.  Stir in tomatoes, garlic salt and cheeses; heat slowly until cheese melts.  Serve warm with chips.

You can serve in a small crock pot or chafing dish with tortilla or corn chips.  Can be made ahead and reheated.
