Yesterday was 'the best day ever' according to my son John and his friend, Cameron.

We headed out early for the Celebration Exotic Car Show, benefiting Disney's Make A Wish Foundation. Exotic cars from all over the country gathered on the streets of downtown Celebration to exhibit, be judged, and awarded.

Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bentley, Rolls Royce, Maserati, Lotus, Mercedes, Aston Martin, Bugatti and DeLorean were among the cars exhibited.

There were also some celebrity movie and TV cars: the Monkeemobile, the car from The Munsters, Dukes of Hazzard, Knight Rider, Back to the Future and Dumb and Dumber's Lamborghini. But that's not why we we were there.

We were there for the Ferraris!

And we were not disappointed! John's favorite car, the Ferrari F50 was there - a yellow one, only one of three in America. The other one is in another state and there is one in Texas that was originally red, then painted yellow. This F50, valued at over $1,000,000, was first owned by Ralph Lauren. The owners graciously allowed John and his friends to sit in it. How cool was that?

Cameron's favorite, the Ferrari Enzo was also there. It is one of only 398 Enzos in the world.  The Enzo was named after Ferrari's son, Enzo.

The boys also sat in James Bond's car, the Aston Martin DBS - I think it's my new favorite car! They only cost around $280,000 LOL.

I could go on and on. We shot over 400 pictures and videos between two still cameras and video cameras. Real photo buffs!

It was actually an entire weekend of events for the Make A Wish Foundation. We only caught Saturday at Celebration. Friday evening there was a reception at the Kissimmee Airport with planes and the exotic cars exhibited along the runway. Saturday evening a gala awards party was held at Sea World and today the cars ran the course at the Walt Disney World Speedway.

We all agreed the darling town of Celebration was the perfect place to have an event like this. The shops and restaurants, hotel and lake provided the perfect backdrop for the cars. The atmosphere was perfect, the weather was exceptional and the cars...oh the cars...like John and Cameron said, "It was the best day ever!"
