Connie: Don't you know it!! Roll baby roll!
Carrie & Kathy - Thanks for the encouragement and hope you have a great week, thanks for the visit!
Connie, I'm very flexible. Sometimes I think that if I bend over backwards for anyone else, any more, I'll break something. ;-)
I've learned to live with the interruptions, and I'm still learning to balance personal with business.
It's a work in progress.
Sylvie - Keep on working and things will fall in place. Thanks for reading my post!
Yes, we have to roll with it indeed! If we did it any other way we'd drive ourselves mad! Best to you~
Mary - absolutely right. The ability to roll does give you sanity.
Good post Connie. We have to learn to balance our lives for sure. I love your photo.
Hi Wendy - I had my camera at the Arboretum and caught those two just having a blast.
What a perfect photo for this post Connie - you are really finding inspiration at the Arboretum! I need to get myself over there! Beautiful shots!
Good points Connie. Sometimes you need these reminders to keep you moving (or Rolling).
Balance is tough sometimes especially when you are starting out. The missed phone call seems like disaster and you agree to do things you normally wouldn't so as to accommodate clients. You provided great reminders though - thank you!
I have had to just "roll with it" here lately too. I just found myself working so many hours, that I told myself, it's "ok to not answer the phone after 7pm". The world didn't fall apart!!
And if you "just roll with it," eventually you might find that when "the good times roll," you'll be "dancing with the stars." Now I'm sick to my stomach. I can't believe I would ever let "dancing with the stars" escape from my mouth (I use voice recognition software).
Since San Diego County has a lot of military personnel overseas, as well as a lot of interest from Asia, Japan, etc., it's very important for me to be flexible. One of the reasons why I make myself available 24/7.
