Whether you or your Real Estate Virtual Assistant are writing your press releases, you are probably wondering if you’re sending and/or submitting them to the best places or websites. Are they getting picked up and are you getting the exposure you deserve?
How would YOU like to know what the reporters WANT or NEED to write about? Now you can.
I was at a conference over the weekend and one of the presenters shared this secret with us and I wanted to pass it along to all of you.
Peter Shankman (CEO, Entrepreneur & Adventurist) started HARO - Help a Reporter Out - a website that allows you to provide basic contact info (name & email address) and each day you'll receive up to three emails, each with anywhere from 15-30 queries from reporters LOOKING for sources!
Peter explains more on the Help a Reporter Out Website including sharing that his list was originally conceived on Facebook, but since Facebook caps group emails at 1,200 people, the HARO Website is the next incarnation.
These requests that Peter receives (and passes on) only come from reporters directly to him. He never take queries from that other service, and promises to never SPAM, and lastly he’s not going to do anything with your email other than send you these reporter requests when they arrive in his inbox.
If you don’t have a PR (public relations) campaign or plan, you need one. Ask your Real Estate Virtual Assistant for options and ideas. Sending out and submitting press releases consistently is an amazingly easy way to get the exposure you deserve!
Make it a wonderful week!
Warmest regards,

This is great Erica! I have a press kit all about me and my background, but I did not know there was this type of service out there. Thanks for sharing!
