The La Canada Community Scholarship Foundation is one of the pillars of the La Canada Flintridge scholastic environment. The Foundation began in 1964, and to date has provided nearly $1,000,000 in scholarship money to deserving students. In today's economic environment, and with the cost of a higher education rising, the Scholarship Foundation is more important than ever.
This year, the Foundation is holding a raffle - "Win a Vespa!". Only 1,000 tickets will be sold. The prize is a new Vespa LX 150. The drawing will be held over Memorial Day weekend, as part of the annual La Canada community "Fiesta Days" celebration.
