I have now been blogging for several months. AR has literally been the NUMBER 1 reason why I have found myself so busy lately. It has driven more traffic to my website and has generated more leads for me than anything else (outside of my sphere).
At first I blogged once or twice and then sort of quit. Of course I saw nothing in return. In my office I had heard of others using it and how it was beginning to work so of course I jumped right back into it and began blogging just about every single day. I actually got featured a couple times and the traffic has become more frequent than when I was PAYING for Google ads!
I started noticing that there are Active Rainers who are featured on almost a daily basis. They have like 1 trillion points and to be honest I started thinking "How does any Realtor have time to blog all day long"?? Don't get me wrong, I enjoy getting the points and watching myself climb up the Franklin Tn ladder but isn't this supposed to be a boost to our business? If it does boost our business then how the heck can we STILL spend all day everyday blogging?
Back to what I was saying earlier... It has been SUCH a boost that I haven't found the "daily" time to blog! I have literally had to wake up earlier and start earleir JUST to make time for everything in my day.
I am sure that some of the best Realtors on here might be the top Rain Makers but the question is, "If that's the case then how come you are not out on listing appointments or showing houses"? Maybe you wake up even earlier than me, stay up later than I do, have an assistant...who knows.
I know it is a vicious cycle. I mean, you must blog to get the traffic but once you get the traffic how can you have time to blog? This creates more listings, showings, leads to call, etc etc etc. and on top of that, you've got family, and some of us take a day off:) Clients first...blogging second.
Today, I have found some time to do what has been helping so much. I raise my arms to cover my face in anticipation of the comments soon to be left....BRING IT!
