ask 5 economic experts their views on the economy you will get 5 different opinions unless one went to Harvard then you will get 6

Local Unemployment really bears watching with the slowdown in the construction industry

I think this market will start to recover when we focus on the business at hand, not 2005's business

I think its premature to call a bottom yet

the foreclosures are just a part of the market bottoming out, when these lis pendens top out and start to trend down, really trend down, start looking for a bottom

till then unless you can double the money your money market account pays or you are going to use it to make money or run a business from it, tread lightly, I picked up and flipped a little house in east ft myers last week, I gave the house away for 4,000, i mean gave it away. But I think that 4000 will buy more in a few months, so in the mason jars in the back yard it goes

I'm thinking the market is ready to do a turn around.  Here in CA we are seeing multiple offers in the neighboring county, and it seems to move in this direction.  So I think I'm going to think positive and pray for the best.  I would like to see a few more buyers get it together.

The trend to watch is our inventory level, the bottom will be felt when we get back to equilibrium and a consistent downward trend in inventory, not the ability of buyers to pay or the property they purchased.

I agree but by the time we see it happen it will almost be too late. I think the thing to watch is when the headlines in the papers turns from sales numbers to price reductions. That will tickle the brains a little more than sales numbers.
