Hey Everybody:

I am just curious about other people experience using Facebook and Twitter? Any other networking sides would you recommend and why? For networking.

Thanks,

Hello Carlos,

well I am new to twitter so i can't speak there but facebook. I love it. I used to use myspace.com but when facebook came out I don't even sign on often on myspace.com. I have to admit I think I forgot the password. :)

for me it has not brought me business as of yet,  but it seems like it is so much easier to understand and follow up with.  I don't know anyone that doesn't have one unless you don't ?? lol  it offers a lot of options and its just plan fun. get one you won't regret it and if you like you can friend me on it and we can take it from there. i can help you if you like.

Carlos:  I feel that Linkedin is good to use as a business presence and also for building a network. I am only beginning to get into Twitter. If you want to know more about how to use Twitter for business you might try the book, "Twitter Power" by Joel Comm. He has some good ideas that I am going to try to implement.

They're fine...you really have to delve into those sites to kick it.  Otherwise, it really is just networking.  I"ve gotten 2 deals off of FB since joining the first of this year.

Carlos,

So far I have not received any leads from facebook. It is a good way to network with friends and relatives. I have heard that some people have got sales through this venue. I think you really need to try whatever is out there.

It seems to me that the Mike Ferry way works.  Just get on the phone and prospect and make those phone calls.  Although I use Facebook mainly for family and friends, I don't think someone is going to look on there and say "Hey, guess what, I just found a Realtor in California!"

Hi Carlos, I definitely use Facebook, its not only a great way to keep in touch with friends and family but also a way to keep your name out in the community. Especially if most of your comments are real estate related.
