If you leave a comment, Jim will visit your blog and leave a comment. One of the nice things about having sunny weather virtually year-round is that if one actually goes out and does things, one can find almost any type of refreshment, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.

My favorite type of non-alcoholic beverage is freshly squeezed lemonade, and since there are still a lot of lemon groves in San Diego County and throughout Southern California, finding freshly squeezed lemonade is fairly easy.

Recently I was out at the Carlsbad Flower Fields and had the pleasure of having some excellent freshly squeezed lemonade at -- you guessed it -- the lemon stand:

I've seen those with oranges and limes, but I must admit that is the first lemon.

Now that is a great marketing with the stand!  Great time of year for lemonade just goes with spring and warmer weather.

I am with you on the lemonade.  I also love a good limeade.  Thanks for sharing and I wish you the best.  Cheers!

Hi Jim - I love lemonade too.  Since I was ordered by my doctor to eliminate caffiene, I find myself ordering lemonade in restaurants even more often.  By the way, where are the photos of the Carlsbad flower fields?  I used to love to go there in the spring, march through the fields for awhile, oohing and aahing, buy a few things, then go across to Pea Soup Andersons for lunch.

Hey, Kathy.

I was surprised all the kids weren't lined up for lemonade, but it wasn't hot out that day.

Hey, Susan.

Sorry I didn't put the link in the actual post. It's there now, and it's also #6 in the most recent post list at the end of the post.

Hey, Jim.

Maybe it's regional, but if there's a place out here that sells lemonade, they almost always have strawberry lemonade. Souplantation has the best strawberry lemonade.
