I love technology - I live and teach it. I am one of the few Top Producer 8i Certified independent trainers in the nation (I think there are five of us now) and I do classes throughout the Colorado front range area.
Lately I've received requests from folks needing help in other regions and as much as I'd love to drive (or fly) out to help them, it just isn't cost effective for either of us.
Well now we have a new solution. I've just become a certified "Helper" within the CrossLoop network and I'm pretty excited about it. Now when someone in need of training or help cannot attend one of my classes, I can provide chat based support and training. The program will also facilitates "screen sharing" which will allow me to actually SHOW someone how to perform a task within Top Producer or whatever software we may be working with.
This is a great alternative to Go-To Meetings (which is also a great tool for larger groups) and will allow folks to just log on, see if I'm available and immediately start a chat session.
This is a great concept, kind of a 'people helping people' approach that I really like!
