Mortgage George...

I never thought about bringing my own cup to Starbucks. Now I feel bad about those two paper cups I tossed into the trash today. Maybe I'll go get them, rinse them out and store them in the truck for next time :)

Thanks George - It's good to see that you and your office are doing your part.  It's time everyone steps up and does their part, including myself.

Diane, I have to admit that if it wasn't for the efforts of the Lender I work for making me aware of what I should be doing, I probably would not be doing it.

TLW at least you did not throw them out the window :)

Troy, it is hard for me, I keep on wanting to go back to my old habits.

George,

I always take my own cup...sometimes the establishment does not appreciate this.

George, Like others have mentioned brining a mug to Starbucks is a good idea.  I didn't know they would let you do this.

As far as the dishwasher.. how is this one.  I turn off the circuit breaker to save energy.  I turn it on only when I plan on using the dishwasher.  The same goes for the dryer and washing machine.  These are NOT appliances that are used everyday (in most cases) so why supply them with electricity?
