Ohio Tax Credit For Vacant Home Buyers

There is a bill in the Ohio legislature that would give home buyers who purchase a vacant property a tax credit. The purpose of the tax credit is to provide incentives to buyers who purchase  properties that have been vacant for over one year.

Locally the impact would be eliminating vacant homes from the current residential inventory. If passed the measure could positively impact  neighborhoods by reducing vacant and blighted properties.
