By
Real Estate Agent with eXp Realty

Saturday, April 25, at Maritime Heritage Park local artist Kuros Zahedi, will turn trash into art with the help of volunteers who show up.

Volunteers  will be provided with gloves and bags to help clean the park. Zahedi will then make a work of art out of the trash.

Zahedi used the trash collected at Maritime Heritage Park last year to create an image of two people dancing in a garden he called "Bellingham Dance." It was made ofplastic bags, beer cans, broken sunglasses and other trash that was found.

Michael--You need to go over an get a picture of this when he is done. There is one trash/art project with stuff pulled from Minnesota lakes and rivers on permanent display at the Minnesota State Fair grounds. Amazing what is created from this stuff.
