Image depicting falling dollar values

Nashville Real Estate home prices fell 4.8% in February (compared to February 2008)....but not nearly as much as they did on a nationwide basis.  Nationally, home prices fell 12.2% in the same month. In fact, home prices have declined for 24 consecutive months.

Nevada saw a 26.7% decrease in home prices...and consequently is the top ranked state for price depreciation in the country.  California comes in a close 2nd with a 26.5% decrease.

These decreases are being driven by rising unemployment and a high volume of forclosures and short sales.

All in all, Nashville Real Estate has weathered the storm quite well.  Please be sure to contact me with any questions you have.  We're your Exclusive Buyer's Agent for Nashville Homes for Sale.
