Clayton NC Home Inspection; cut floor joist (new construction)

One of the more noteworthy items is the floor joist that had been cut to allow a plumbing drain pipe to pass through. Joists get cut as construction and planning are not perfect. However, they must be braced properly to avoid potential settlement and sagging problems (I have seen plenty of this on older homes).
