Providence sees home prices drop by half

A real estate companies report that in Providence, homes prices drop by half compared to the same period in 2008.

I do not quite agree with the data as my research shows a slight different result. Anyway, it is always a good idea to listen to different voices.

Huiting, what does your research say? Half is not good..

A 50% decline from 2008 to 2009 sounds skewed. I can see that maybe for some higher end homes but not for the broader market.

It's hard to generalize a whole market. I think you make a good point to listen to all the reports, and then get specific in you search criteria (ie sq ft or bedrooms etc)
