Jim and Maria, Oh boy you have to be careful of those fiesty pelicans. They will steal a fish away from you in a snap. They can be aggressive.  And they typically aren't shy. Great picture!

Charles: I have no idea what kind of fish they may be catching.  This isn't the ocean, but it is a river that feed into the Intercoastal Waterway very close to the ocean.

Lazy no good bird! LOL

I was watching a program on Animal Planet about bears and how they will wait around for food to be thrown in the garbage cans rather than going out to find their own. They had one sow who hid in the forest and watched that garbage can for hours at a time, and as soon as the people put food in it and went back inside, she was dragging that can away.
